Flat Search is a member of the FNCI (French National Property Hunters Federation) and, as such, upholds its belief in transparency and protection of the buyer’s interests and also its professional requirements.
“Federation members are not allowed to use selling mandates. They represent and protect the sole interests of the buyer.
Likewise, Federation members are not allowed to have any kind of interest in the sale of a property, as either an individual or a corporation. Estate agents, buying agents and developers cannot be Federation members.
The commitments made by Federation members to their clients are contractual. All assignments are subject to an agency agreement which states, in particular, a description of the property sought, the methods used, the duration and the payment.
Federation members are licence holders and, as such, are covered by professional indemnity insurance and provide financial guarantees.
Information provided by Federation members’ clients is strictly confidential. It may not be passed on to another party without the client’s prior agreement.
Federation members are committed to providing their customers with transparency on all information relating to the search and, in particular, a complete list of all the property they find and visit.
Federation members will produce a report of any property visits they make containing sufficient detail about the visit to enable their clients to make an informed decision about whether or not to visit the property themselves.
Federation members support their clients every step of the way until the final deed of sale is signed.
